Default Car stalled in middle of the road

So I was driving my C4 hard in the lower drive gear. I got it up to a higher rev range and my car basically shut off I had hit a bump and the car seemed to just lose power. When I got to a stop light my car wouldn’t not move and the engine wasn’t on. I tried to restart it and it would not start the service engine soon and battery light came on. I waited and tried to start it and it wouldn’t start. I then waited maybe a minute or two and it started and ran fine. Any idea what the issue could be? The car is a 1988 automatic with 180K miles thank you guys.

Id check the fuel pressure your pump could be on its way out
See what the reading is at idle..tape it to your windheild and see where its at under load.
Sometimes just turning the ign to "on" but not stating it tells you somethings wrong

Maybe give the distributor a look, too. Cap, rotor, coil and whatnot.

Since the service engine light came on pull the code(s) instead of guessing.

Yeah I think it could be my pump tbh because it has stalled when gas was low but not super low.

This is for an 84 but I'm pretty sure it applies to all 84 to 89 vettes.
