I am with Klondike on this, the differences to the later models looks more finished maybe even a more modern look. Don't flame me here but the older version is as though they gave it no thought at all.

I respect yours and everyone elses opinion... HOWEVER.... the change from the C3 to the 84 C4 was a huge change and a far more clean look. In a way it also resembled the earlier C3 rear end... Of course the later C4 has a more modern look... its a newer more modern car. To me, Corvette lights should be round.... just my .02

Hmmmmm, I'm sure you've seen a '68 thru '73 rear. Concave rear, round tail lights.

I know what you mean but, look at the two pictures before my first post, a newer red and an older tan , they just look light years different. I do like the square tail lights and non concave look.
