What Refrigerant does the 1993 Use?
My 93 Camaro used R134a as GM changed over from R12 at the end of the Third Gens.
However I am finding information that Corvette didn't change to R134a until the 1994 model year with 93 still being on R12.
Can anyone confirm?

I believe 94 was the change over year. You can confirm by looking at the fittings. R12 had ports with screw on fittings such as your tire air valves, R134 had quick disconnects on the service ports similar to air tool fittings. Also the A/C info tag will confirm.

1993 was the last year for R12 in a C4. Maney have been changed over to R134 and is evident by new inlet and outlet fittings. Need to drain and including oil in the compressor. Possibly may need to replace the aluminum condensor. Also add some dye to help identify any leaks. I think it calls for 42 ounces of freon.
