Finally got around to replacing my front spoiler... check out the condition of the old next to the new one. Anyone ever had one this bad?

I haven't. The old one looks like it's been deflecting more than just air over the years.

Looks like someone needed new glasses and/or didn't stop it in time. Maybe from pulling into a driveway or other entry way the same way all the time and dragging the spoiler on the pavement.

Looks like a previous owner took driving lessons from Helen Keller!

Your old one looks factory fresh compared to my 3-piece crumpled spoiler that the prior owner used to relocate parking lot barriers.

Must have been on a car with lowering kit and driven with flat front tires.

Actually yes. The 86 I had when I bought it. It was missing completely

Well the rim with the bolts was still there but that was it.

Nope, just one big-*** snapping turtle. There was a ditch on one side and a car coming in the other lane, so I just had to straddle him and hope. I saw were turtle and spoiler parts flying in the rear view mirror.

It looks like maybe it was cracked by an impact and the side of the spoiler was flopping around -- I don't know about you, but that would surely annoy the hell out of me. And maybe they didn't have time to replace it so in the meantime they cut off the floppy part. Just a thought.

I'd say check the rest of the car. Hopefully your car was not just a quick respray and flip.

That shows signs like messed up suspension, and many other things. That car was driven for a while with issues. IMO

Mine had only the centre section when I bought it. A Corvette Specialist here in the UK got me a replacement. it was not expensive, and looks great, but I have to put some thin timber down to get out of my driveway without it catching on the ground!!

I have learned to back into the garage and the 2" lip of concrete does not hit anything. It would hit air dam if I drove in without my peaces of 2x10 to hit tire first. I do not want to have to replace it yet, as it allready has some damage but nothing like that.
