Trans pan removable with cross brace
Hi everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to help me.
I have a 95 convertible with a cross brace.
I also have a leak from my transmission pan.
I want to remove the pan but the cross brace is covering the bolts.
I do not have a hoist, just a couple of jack stands.
Is it okay to remove the cross brace to get access to the bolts?
Should I have all 4 corners of the car on jack stands?
Thanks again.

Burning Brakes
Aaron find someone with a lift, I changed the filter and gasket on my 94 coupe and there is one bolt above the pass. side exhaust clamp that has to be removed and installed with a 1/2" stubby wrench from above the exhaust pipe only can be turned 1 flat at a time unless you drop the exhaust system, I do have a lift thank goodness. I can not think how hard this would be laying on your back, especially with a vert with cross brace. Add location to your profile, maybe someone will chime in willing to help.
