Default C4 dog in the back

I would imagine many of you find this sacrilegious but my dog fits so nicely in the back of my 87 and I'm even convinced he deadens some of the noise

As much as I'd like to, unfortunately I have a black interior and 2 white dogs....not a good combination.

Would you do that with your kids? It's against the law to put kids back there because IT'S DANGEROUS But then again, it's only a dog right?

Our mutts are clutzes. They pushed in the shift indicator on the console.

But they've been to the NCM!

Charly (pictured) is the hair challenge.

gets might warm back there. I'd get one of those brackets that lets you keep the back hatch cracked open for air flow.

My greyhound loved riding in my '92. It was a little tricky getting him in, but once he was there he was fine.

Get some large bath towels and lay them on the floor of the storage area. Wash them every so often to keep them clean and they can also help with cleaning up "accidents".

Have you thought of tinting the rear hatch window? That could help keeping the interior temps down and provide shade for the doggie

I was a kid in the 80s and my dad had an 85 Vette as his dd and two other kids. I have many, many memories of sitting in the hatch area or on my sister's lap in the passenger seat. I remind him often that he'd be in jail these days!

Some time ago I saw a pic of a childs car seat bolted to the cargo deck.
Seemed like a great option before he sold it for a van....

Ellie, our Jack Russell rides on my wife's lap in our '93 vert. She likes the ambient smells coming at her from all sides!

You probably represent .01% of the population. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, I just don't see it happening.
