Product Spotlight: FUSION Billy Boat Exhaust for 92-96 C4 Corvette
Billy Boat Exhaust sets the pace for stainless steel exhaust systems, especially when it comes to Corvette exhaust systems. All of our Corvette exhaust systems are built by hand using T304 stainless steel. Through extensive dyno testing we concluded that the LT motors love to breathe, so we designed the entire system using 3″ mandrel bent tubing. With a uniquely designed resonator and muffler pair, your L Tl, L T4, and ZR 1 motor will increase in performance and sound.
Fusion Exhaust Systems
The Fusion is a bi-modal exhaust system, meaning it has two passages, or modes, that the exhaust can travel through the muffler. Each of the mufflers has two outlets, with one side having a butterfly type valve which allows the exhaust flow to be shut off, regulating which side of the muffler the flows exhaust One side of the muffler is the “quiet” side, and one side is the ‘loud” side. The “quiet” side is a smaller, muffled and chambered tube, while the ‘loud” side is 3″ tubing straight through.

Very interested.
I started a post last week looking for pictures of this installed on a C4.
The yellow vette stock image is not the Fusion system.
Got any real pics of this system on a c4? Side, rear, etc? Wondering how those round cans hang down...
Thanks!!!

I started a thread in the technical forum under Magnaflow 16837 (I was thinking of the Magnaflow exhaust too) but I ultimately went with the B&B Fusion. I Hope I made the right choice!
I am very anxious to take delivery as it has been a while since I ordered it.

I am waiting for my Fusion exhaust system that I ordered from B&B, I will be posting pictures when I install it on my GrandSport as well as sound clips.

Burning Brakes
Is the valve approach meant to eliminate the drone in the regular Tri-Flo systems? I have a 2002-vintage Tri-Flo and it's always had a terrible drone/resonance between about 1800-2200 rpm, which unfortunately is cruising speed at 65-70 mph in sixth gear.
Reminds me of the Power Effects approach with the adjustability, and a bit of Corsa (one side open, one side more closed) and I like the option of the black finish... might be time to upgrade. Curious to hear how grandspt's install goes.
