Family reunion was suppose to happen on the weekend of Carlisle corvettes...Everything fell apart. Got days off work. Never made it to the Carlisle event. Been wanting to go (sat) Heard it's not to C4 friendly....Go or just go visit friends in Hanover an eat hot dogs an Broadway crabs. You had to be born there to understand. Ziggy

Went to Carlisle back in 2003 for the 50th reunion. Had a great time. Stayed outside Gettysburg. It's a great tour. Hershey's too.
By the way, it gets hot in PA that time of year.

Was raised just south of Carlisle, Been to spring an fall events for swap meets, also Hershey swap meet but never to corvette show. If it's not to hot I'll drop $30 to get in to look around. Know plenty of nice back roads to take the 90 coupe on...Ziggy

If you're planning on finding alot of items for C4's there, a family reunion would be your better option. Lots of Corvettes there if that's all you want to see, but very little vendor(parts) support for the C4. Shame.

C4 parts are up there but not many to pick from. But if you can swing it I would go

I'm looking forward to the event. Stayning over 2 night. Going up Friday and coming back Sunday. Hope I might find some C4 parts, but I'd don't no big deal. Ill still enjoy the event.

As far as C4 parts, I think they are slowly ramping up as more are dead and being parted out. There a few C4 only venders and more scattered parts each year.

I've been going to multiple Carlisle events for the last 25+ years.
If you have never been to the Corvette show I would say go.
Hopefully it will not be as hot and humid as last year. I've been to been to many events at Carlisle where it has rained an agree it can suck, but boy would a shower have been appreciated last year.
C4 parts are to be found but it does not seem to be any more than can be found at the Carlisle Spring/Fall swap events.
I've never been to Hershey. Always heard it was more geared towards the pre-50's cars.

The issue with C4s is not the Corvette, is the owner(s). If you show up at any car show with an ugly dirty Corvette people will give you dirty looks including me while I drive in my C4.
I attended the 2013 and met with few CF members. I learned a lot by talking to Pete K, and there is a lot to learn about Corvettes C1~C7 there.
The day I was there, the market for the C3 was the king.
You can go there in four weeks and show up with the C8 Mid-Engine and if you go there with a poor attitude and turn into a dick you will have a lousy time. FYI the place is hot and humid.

My first Carlisle (and only, to date) was a fun time as a C4 owner. There was a sea of Grand Sports, a trio of Admiral Blue ZR-1s, Challenge Cars, etc.
Then again, my car was already in for work and I wasn't looking for any specific vendors.

Carlisle throwback pic
Nearly every Sunday our forum sponsor Mike@Criswell has a thread on C7 Discussion containing throwback pics. Not today though. So I added a few of my own to last weeks. Check out the pages. Mine from Carlisle are at the end. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=4018555

Only a pig would have chromed wheels on a Grand Sport.
