Default Touch up paint?

Has anyone used this brand of touch up paint? I have a few spots on my Vette that i'd like to fill in, it's got a few spots chipped down to the fiberglass.

I've used mid America's tough-up paint in the past. it's OK, but IMO, a bit pricey, especially if you add in S&H. since you're looking for arctic white, it's available in the duplicolor brand for a lot less. I've used it on my 90 arctic white car, and the match was very, very good. not too many stores carry it locally - I bought mine on fleabay --

Dupli-Color NG GM 153 Arctic White -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Duplicol...593827&vxp=mtr -- 12-bucks, hit the enter button, and wait for the UPS guy -

BTW, it's also available in the BC/CC version (through amazon) as well as a rattle can --

I personally don't color sand with abrasive paper. I build the area up in layers - it might take days, depending on how deep the chip or affected area needing repair. since the paint is lacquer based, I use a paper towel folded tightly and a little thinner, and ever so LIGHTLY buff the area - little by little. I might do this several times. when satisfied, I polish with a heavy cut cleaner and work the finish to a gloss. I've been touching up paint chips for probably 50 years, and have yet to master it, but they don't look bad from an arms length, and at 20 feet and 20 MPH, barely noticeable -

FWIW, I've used that stuff, and to be honest, results not any better than duplicolor.

one thing I should mention with touch-up paint - I tend to thin it out a bit with thinner and use a very fine artist brush instead of the brush supplied with the kit or bottle. i'll mix a few drops of paint in a small container, and add a drop or two of thinner using a eye-dropper. I build the area up in layers over time. I had one area on my 85 that was about 3/16 diameter, and down to the "glass." because of layer drying time, it took weeks to build up the paint and refinish. the degree of finish depends on how **** you are and how much time you're willing to spend on the repair.

Our local O'reilly Auto has a paint department. Twice the young lady there has made me touch up paint and both were a perfect match.

I've also used automotive touchup paint online. they made me a base coat rattle can for a 02 maroon camaro they came out great.
