Just took delivery of my first Corvette!
Just bought and took delivery of my first Corvette. It's a 1996 Grand Sport #890. It's from the collection of Mr. Kerbeck and has 23,000 on the odometer. They even slapped a brand new set of new old stock Eagle GSC's on it.
Sorry for the crappy pics but it's night now.. better pics another day.

SR71, welcome to the Corvette Forum...
You picked a fine C4 for your first Corvette. The LT4 engine definitely let every one know that performance was back for good in the Corvette.
I have a C5, C6 and a C7, and whenever I take my '85 out It still puts a smile on my face!
Good luck... GUSTO

Thanks to all! Can't wait to go home after work and take it out for a trip around the neighborhood and snap a few better pics in the daylight....the Admiral Blue looks great in sunlight, not so much at dusk.

Nice find, tough call to say whether to store it or drive it (I firmly believe 96 GS will appreciate dramatically in coming years), but with 22K seems to be a driver at this point. As the saying goes, "Why save your girlfriend for the next guy???"

I hope you double the millage. No sense in keeping it nice for the next guy. Get your moneys worth out of it.

Congrats and your first one is an excellent choice- the GS is definitely a keeper.
Now, what is the first project you are going to get after?

It's a beauty. Will be a hit at car shows if you like going to those.

Thanks a bunch! I called County Corvette in West Chester, PA which is only 45min. from me, to see about getting a once over of all the fluids and wear items. Then get a cover for it, order a window sticker, build sheet and that's really about it. Keeping her stock, out of the rain and for sunny day drives & car shows.
Although admittedly I need to learn / re-learn how to drive a manual
