Some pictures of my new to me admiral blue '94
Got up early today and had a fun time taking pictures around town.
Zip ties underneath were done by previous owner. Yuck, it's on the list.
The flash makes the gray areas (leather polish to hide the cracks) look more noticeable than they are in person.
Just took this so I could look up the model # to change the color to blue. It was lighting up red when I got it.
A lot of small paint issues on the front end.
Would like to replace these
It could be worse...
Center console is ugly and cracked. Seats are rough but I think they're comfortable to sit in. Previous owner smoked so the air freshener stays for now. It's not too noticeable after cleaning everything so I think any undesirable odor will go away soon enough.

Admiral Blue ALWAYS gets me! Nice ride man!
I repainted my 84' Admiral blue after I did the 91-96 bumper swap. My favorite color on a 91-96 C4!

Congrats. Looks like you have a number of little things that will need to be taken care of (eventually). I didn't see where things like mileage or mechanical condition were noted, but assuming they're good nothing I se would scare me off.
Looks like either it's the photo or the panel on the passenger side behind the front wheel is damaged. You should be able to find a replacement.

I think so. If I really dive in, I could probably knock almost all of it out before snow falls.
Funny thing, I saw another thread about funny/stupid/ridiculous comments and how people often mistake C4's for being 2000's and newer. I had two people yesterday ask if it was a 2001 or 2002. I think another guy thought I repainted the car because he didn't remember this shade of blue being on a Corvette. The new car plate sure makes people social about cars.

What's the little wind deflector(?) thing just above the windshield on yours?
Also, it's kinda hard to find good pictures in the archives/search results here since a lot of them are dead photobucket links. Where's a good place to find some pictures of either OEM or modded interiors for admiral blue C4's? About the best I've found have been old sales threads.

Got it from Eckler's (other Corvette stores sell them) for about $140. Bolts in where the targa panel goes, takes about a minute to install/remove. Makes a huge difference in turbulence and wind noise from the top. Well worth every penny.

Congrats and welcome! Love the Admiral Blue color!
You say that the PO had a quote to fix all the bits and paint for $800? Honestly I'd just do that....... Sounds super reasonable IMO. Chances are it'll match better than whatever paint chip stuff you are going to put onto it and if something needs replaced they can do it. That's just my .02 though.
If you run into anything you aren't sure about, or want a local opinion on something PM me, I'm from Indianapolis also and have done a lot of little repairs to my cars over the last couple years. So I can either recommend a place or I can tell you about my experience doing something myself.
