I don't care what you drive, but if you know about them why would you not answer the person honestly?

The facts are the c4 corvette is a mass produced GM vehicle. Nothing special or exotic.

My guess is you actually don't know the ins and outs of the car you own and that is why my answer does not make sense to you.

Yep too bad nobody told you. (maybe in 2049 when you can afford another 32 year old (2017)out dated car you'll know more about it)

ALSO... some people have more money than others.

Some people can afford a lot more than a c4 but might have been drawn for certain reasons... Information is what helps people make informed decisions.

I own a c4 for particular reasons. I have more than a c6 money in to my c4 and I bought it for 8k in 07, and had one before that too.

The general public is not interested in c4ss and hence the price range.

people with a little pocket change or can get a cheap loan are the people buying them.

Sorry you own bottom the food chain vette right now. So do I.

Stop taking stuff personally and listen to the questions asked.

Is 11k a good price for 1985 corvette ? HELL NO!

I paid $9.5k for a nice, very nice 92 auto coup this spring with 52,000 miles.

So?

Two day's later the locking gas cap went kaput.
Two weeks later I had to replace a transaxle bearing.
Then the antenna got stuck!
Then the solar sensor just broke for no reason?
Then the drivers side rear bose speaker system went south......
Then I discovered the anti-freeze needed changing.
Then I discovered the tires are from 05.
[edit] Then the pneumatic pump for the drivers side lumbar support quit working.
Then the gas chambers for the rear hatch went limp...

I can't imagine the hidden little secrets on a 85 ???

Here, Ill help you.... My 86 with 33k on it when I bought it needed brake hoses, a master cylinder and a fuel sending unit.... Nothing else. Worth every dime and runs like a champ! Everything works like it should.... Im going to do injectors for the preventative factor.... but it still runs fine....

No, just needed some stuff sorted out. Everything works now and the interior is show room new, got the sport seats, Bose Gold, FX3 which works and a 3:07 rear end.
