Default 94 coupe cruise control issue

My cruise control has been inoperable since I purchased the car...and now that I've got her pretty much back to daily driver status I would like to get the cruise control working...
Can anyone give me the usual culprits to look for first? ..and how to troubleshoot this issue?
Thx!

On my 94 the cruise control was inoperative until I replaced the clutch master cylinder. The cruise control cutoff switch at the top of the clutch pedal throw was dislodged and tricking the system into thinking the clutch was always disengaged.

If your a ZF6 car check that. Even if not, check the corresponding switch on the brake pedal. My brake switch also incorporates a vacuum breaker. So as mentioned above, any break in the vacuum hoses to the cruise module will render the system inoperative.

Me too!! 96 with a rotted vacuum line. I ran a new rubber line from the 3 way check valve on the right side to the cruise and it worked like new. Dan
