My 1993 Corvette C4 LT1
My 1993 Corvette that I have had since 2009 when it has 73000 miles just hit 100,000. Car was restored by me cosmetically and mechanically and car is mint. Just turned over 100,000 miles. I have been trying to sell it for 1 year at a very low price but all I got were low ballers and scam artists. I was thinking then of keeping it and updating the AC Delco crap radio to a state of the are Bluetooth hand free talking radio with new speakers and all. Car runs strong and is a great car. My question? Bad idea or good idea to improve car? Most of the C4's I have seen under 50,000 miles so my car is a high mileage car. Thoughts? What would you do? Sell it or keep it?

Keep it!!! Otherwise, one day you will hear yourself saying: "I should never have sold that car".
It's mint and pristine. Enjoy it! (BTW, 100k is not particularly high mileage.)

C4 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
If you are going to keep it for your use..... there is nothing wrong with upgrading certain components to more modern day technology. You might consider getting in touch with Dennis at Double D mods about what aftermarket audio equipment will work in your C4.
I kept my C4 when I got my C5 and I'm really glad that I did. Nothing wrong with the C5 just that the C4 is actually more fun to drive.

Funny people mention C5's. That was going to be my affordable Corvette, then this 92 popped up (word of mouth). Now after owning it for a season, I feel as special as C5 drivers. lol

Most C4s you've seen have 50k? Most are certainly above 100k. It's been a bitch trying to sell mine as well. If you sell it, what will you get with that money? If there other cars you're interested in, drive them and see if you like one more than your 93.

Beautiful vette. Since you're only getting lowball offers, keep it and upgrade the stereo.
A stereo upgrade was one of the first things I did on my '96. I used Crutchfield and it was easy. Just input your car info and it will make recommendations. I currently have a Pioneer single din and I ran new speaker wire to aftermarket speakers.
You can get a double din Pioneer with Bluetooth, HD radio, USB inputs and remote for $179.00 from Crutchfield along with instructions, installation gear and recommendations for necessary adapters.
Here's a link for it -

I recently purchased a 94' with 77k miles. The first thing I did was upgrade the stereo to the Sony Apple Play system. It fit perfectly where the original BOSE use to be. I had a professional installer do the work. I even had them add the back-up camera. The PO had installed a Viper security system with remote start. I went with all new speakers but kept the BOSE labels in the rear. So now I have navigation, hands-free phone, bluetooth, email's, etc. I purchased the car as a "company car" - I sometimes use it for business.....it takes prizes in it's class at shows.

Completely agree! I am one of those saying "I should have never sold that car". Still hate thinking about the one that I should not have sold. Not going to let that happen to my 91. I've had faster cars, and more expensive cars, but, this is one of the most fun cars I've had.
