@/\ He probably did block you. He has mentally blocked and rejected 99% of the information or input since he started posting.

He must be waiting ti find someone that shares his ideas.

The goals here are less defined and less attainable than repairing our Governmental system IMO.

So who feels like correcting him on the "pure" gasoline?

I'm tired of talking to a wall so someone else can fill him in.

I can't do it.

His intelligence is far superior to mine, I recognized that in his 2nd post on this forum.

His ideas are very far out of the box and this world of possibility and probability.

His dreams are bigger than Mr. King's.

His misconceptions / understanding of how engines and drive trains work and are paired together are greater than his determination to "perfect" his car.

His wallet is the only thing saving him from huge losses/ failures even though we have all tried.

I gotta hand it to you Phoenix.

Some people try and play these cats with a "ball o` yarn", but you brought a laser light.

This is still going, huh?

The guy who says that street racing is dangerous goes on to talk about punching it off a green light.

Who talks about never going over 5000 rpm which is more or less redline in a stock motor.

"I want better mileage" "My mileage actually increased going 60 mph at 2100 RPM with full vacuum in fifth gear." "The LT1 makes 325 ft-lbs of torque around 2000 RPM." So you are saying that you get better mileage at peak torque? Inconceivable!

"Based on what I've read, you definitely do not know how to drive your car. OR...something is quite wrong with your LT1." Agreed. Phoenix, how long since you've changed plugs and wires and other tune up stuff stuff?

"I like to keep my RPM low" Thats hard on the engine and makes it work harder than it has to. Changing axles gears will let you keep (actually increase) that low speed grunt and make it easier on the engine.

"I need to figure out how to build the motor to work with the stock gearing." Good luck with that. Most people change the gearing to work with their engine and what their intended use is.

"With regards to the Iso-Butanol I will be experimenting with it before this build, it will likely get consumed more than the gasoline I am currently using." So your mileage will go down? I thought you wanted more mileage?

"You need a diesel." Yup. The dyno sheet of my LBZ shows 400hp and 900 ft-lbs. For an 8000 lb truck, that thing scoots and gets good mileage doing so. I get about 16 city and 22 highway.

"...as long as you are running original emissions devices..." Ignorance of the law is no excuse, so you'd better be damn sure.
