Default Front wheels

Are there any disadvantages or precautions such pre mature suspension wear, wheel bearing wear etc, to putting 17 x 9.5 factory sawblades on the front? Have a chance to get a whole set really cheap. Been wanting a set of 9.5s for front for tire rotation purposes on a 1996 base Coupe daily driver.

Got 9.5s all around on my 1996. No problems for me.

My 95 which has the Z07 option came stock with 9.5" on all 4 corners. The tires will last a lot longer being able to rotate from front to back.

'88 to '92 all had 17" x 9.5" on all four with the same basic suspension and bearings as your '96. Certain suspension options on '93 to '96 used all four 17" x 9.5" too. (There are also 16" in '88 and other special cars like the ZR1's, GS's, etc that used other sizes.)

In other words all four 17" x 9.5" work fine. I have that setup on my '95 and '96 now.
