Default 1986 HVAC Control

I have a 86 auto. I have an electronic controller. When any other setting is on except the defroster, I have a little blow by on the defroster side. Its not a lot but; I can feel a little air coming through. When the defroster is on, I have no blow by on any other vents. I know the defroster is the default function.
Is this normal?? I did change my vacuum solenoid controller under the dash. The electronic controller is also new.

I would say a very small amount is normal. Very small.

Mine does that too. I guess the factory set them up that way.

I tend to agree with the above - a little is normal. as long as all other functions work, i'd say not to worry.

Just be thankful that your display works lol. Mine works when it wants to. More than likely bad solder joints I would guess. At any rate i also feel the same thing on my 86. I figured it was normal on this car as it is in many other cars I have.
