Am I the only one having problems with their subscription?

I realized after having not received issue #116 long after it was due, that there was a problem. So I contacted them and they sent it to me. Now I realize #117 & #118 are both overdue. I’ve sent them a couple of emails, with no replies received. I’ve called and get a message to call back during business hours, but it is during business hours!

Are they having problems in general, or just with me?

They know I exist and am a subscriber, because they just sent me a renewal notice, (which says my present subscription doesn’t run out until April).

I was at the bookstore today and realized I had not gotten Dec 2017 or Jan 2018. There has been a couple times that they hit the bookshelf before I got mine. I bought these 2 as I wanted to read them, and if they show up will give the others to my buddy with the '90.

I bought #113 at the bookstore and subscribed. I've received #115, #116, and #117 so far. Still waiting on #118.

Did I pick the wrong magazine?

I don't really care much for the latest greatest vette stuff....that's always covered in the 5 other car mags I subscribe to...

Just a quick side note.....

Today in the mail I received a letter from "CORVETTE" magazine thanking me for my recent subscription.
As I mentioned above, I subscribed to "Vette" magazine.

The letter is asking for payment. "Hmmmmm....."

Just a FYI: The magazine does not hold itself to a consistent time period between issues.
For example; the present calendar year was "covered" in eight issues.

I have to check my subscription to see if it ran out regarding the Dec/Jan issues, but over the past year, there has been numerous times that the issues hit the stand at Barnes and Nobles well before I received mine in the mail.

I subscribed to Vette Magazine a while ago, it's from the same company that does Hot Rod and many others. I haven't fallen in love, but then I don't have a C1,C2,C5,C6 or C7. Rarely cover C3 or C4.

Well I finally got someone to answer the phone at Corvette Magazine today. She said that #118 has hit the stands but the subscription issues have not all gone out yet, and that I should expect it either later this week or early next week. As for #117, she said that I should check my local post office, as that is two issues in a row that I did not receive and she suspects something fishy is going on there, but she will put another one in the mail for me.

So I’m feeling a little better about the situation, and wondering/hoping that both of them will get here soon.

#118 arrived today in the regular mail packaging today. Now just waiting for #117 to arrive.

Hopefully all future issues will be on schedule.

no one seems to like or love the c-4s except most of the owners. I believe if one of the main stream car mags, like hot rod or the like, did a project on a early c-4 things might pick up for us in parts and respect/value. The c-4 is the unsung value in todays market. Is the because of Hollywood and the drift movies that the kids love? Who knows, but I think car mags are aimed at the young folks. Waiting in line with the rest of the :stock: drivers at the drags, young folks pass me buy and stop to check out all the Hondas and such. Untill interest picks up in c-4s, aftermarket and car mags just wont pay us much attention the c-4 deserves.\\

#118 just arrived in the mail. I never did get #117. It seems as there is a pattern here.

My back order #117 came in today. So I’m all caught up. Now let’s see if they start coming in regularly again.

I actually off and on email the editor, I sent him a link to this thread and let him know what was going on and that as the editor he should know about it. He said thanks and forwarded it on to the circulation department. Sometimes you just have to deal from the top down to really get noticed and not lost in the storm.

Since they are a business (of course) and having issues show up on the newsstand first, and not getting issues, it is a business issue.
