C4 targa roof color match wrap
Hi Gang
Happy New Year all! My dumb decision to buy a house without a garage to keep the old girl happy has my 1994 under about 200 pounds of snow ( I have a good cover so I'm not worried ).
I'm writing to see if anyone knows if there is a company that sells vinyl wraps or spray on/peel off paint so that I can make my ugly, faded, oxidized targa roof match the color of my vette? My vette is the Black Rose Metallic, and I would love to match the roof to the body.
Any leads are appreciated! This forum has helped me get my baby running like a champ, and now she deserves a makeover.
Thanks
raymic

that wrapped targa top looks good... I have a black rose vette also with the tinted top... wondering if I should wrap that as it does have imperfections...hmmmmmm

Carbon
I vinyl wrapped the piece on top of the door, arm rests and the door sills. I also wrapped the custom rear deck for the stereo and the center console. I think I'm done with the carbon fiber....The pictures aren't that great.

I have been thinking about wrapping my clear top as well. It's all hazed/crazed, and I know I could buff and polish it up again. But my main goal is actually to block the sun - it gets really hot! My car is torch red, but I am looking at "black chrome" color for the top. I think that would look the most like the factory tint on it right now, and it should reflect more sun/heat than flat black or the carbon fiber look. I really like the carbon fiber idea too, but I just think that a near-flat-black would absorb a lot of heat.
Anybody tried this color yet, or have any pics of someone who did (on any car)? I haven't had any real luck finding pics. Also, has anyone bought the wrap and done the job themselves?
