Default 1989, how many auto vs 6 speed?

I have googled this but can't find an answer, in 1989 how many 6 speed transmissions were factory installed? It seems most I find are automatic and I know the 6 speed was optional. Thanks! 26,412 total production, 16663 coupes and 9749 convertibles.

..... According to the Corvette Black Book , 4113 6-speed transmissions were ordered in 1989 ... a no-cost option .....

Mine is an FX3 too. Which you could only get if you had a Z51 6 speed. I wonder how many of those were made? Must be rarer than the FX3 on later models.

Yep, up until '97 when Chevy started charging $915 to get the manual trans on C5

Yep, mine too. An 89 with 6 speed, Z51 with the FX3. Frankly I'm not a fan of the FX3 as it seems (at this age) to be nothing but problems-- expensive problems.

The only new car I have ever bought was a 1999 Corvette. I do recall the 6 speed was more expensive than the auto. Interesting before that you could just chose which one you preferred.
