Who has '96 Collector's Editions?
Just posting this for $h!ts n giggles (cuz I like to see 'em and I've spotted none around here except ours). How many of you have a '96 Collector's Edition? What interior color do you have and what mods have you done?
Our car used to belong to another forum member here. It's only been in my family 9 months, so everything has been done by previous owners. It is an LT1 auto convertible with red interior. It has drilled/slotted discs, aftermarket wheels, new seat covers. Not much else that I can tell. Basically stock and unmolested.
Post your pics! (confession: mine is from a previous owner, but I think it's a neat pic)!

Mine is a LT4 with gray interior. Bought it in Sept 2014 with 17K miles on it, Drive it everyday April thru Nov. Other than Magnaflow Cat back exhaust install at Carlisle, Injector upgrade, GS stripe, and wheels, just maintenance items changed.

Technically its my wife's, but I broke it (head gasket). Its on a lift with $5K worth of parts waiting to be put back on, LE2 package and intake as well as the valve train parts, headers, rebuilt trans w/ 3200 TC, 3.07 rear, EBC drilled/slotted rotors & pads. It has a gray interior, but the seats are in "OK" shape(I have Red ones to replace)

Mine is an LT4 6speed with black interior and about 45k miles. Love it.
The only visible mod is the Borla exhaust and window tint.
I put in a new OEM flywheel and clutch along with a black tag ZF a couple years ago. (The previous owner put in a single mass Spec flywheel and clutch that chattered horribly and was out of balance so it vibrated over 3k rpm.)
I suspect the previous owner may have put in a hot cam, but don't have a good way to tell other than it runs pretty well.

When trying to use the rear view mirror it is hard enough to see behind that frequently I use the side mirror instead.
I like the looks of the tint, but I would go lighter.

I have a convertible LT4 I picked up with less than 10K miles. It has the factory hardtop as its unusual option. Grey interior. I've added some Hella headlights because I do drive it at night and a Corsa exhaust with a Hurst 6 speed shifter (the ball is a lot more comfortable then the stock shift **** with the fake needle work and mold flash). I also have the Vette2Vette C4 no flex frame stiffeners.

our CE is an LT4, replaced seats from PO with Al Knoch, new exhaust w/ muffler eliminators, and tinted rear window, enjoy it but don't seem to get out and drive it as much as we'd like too.

Good lookin' cars! 1984Z51auto, I've never seen frame stiffeners before. Do they have some advantage for street use?
Ours has tinted windows as well ... not acceptable in IL, either. We'll see if the LEOs give me a hard time about them this spring.

I have a LT4 Convertible with gray interior and 55,000 miles. It has a Hypertech control module, cat back performance exhaust, a Sony Bluetooth stereo.

The short answer on the frame stiffeners is YES. They gain some ground clearance over the convertible's "X" brace and I believe they also improve handling on rough roads. Also reduce creaks and squeaks overall.
