If you could only have one, which do you prefer? I personally like the body colored better. I think it gives the car a more "complete look".

Or you could have one like mine where you wouldn't really notice the difference.

if you don't know I think there is more head room with one over the other, you might want to check that out and issues that occur with the acrylic.

For me I had the acrylic and did not like it for driving light, and other things.

I have the glass on both of time. I like the (illusion of) extra visibility.

Nice machined wheels on the 35th.

If you go with a clear roof buy a black inner roof liner. Keeps interior cooler in the Summer and removes easily for Fall through Spring.

I want the acrylic roof for mine! Really like the blue tint! The body match targa does nothing for me.....

My car came with both. I prefer the body colored top. I think that it looks better and is quieter in the cabin. I will say however that I agree that the see thru acrylic roof panel does make the cabin "seem" more spacious inside.

I, too, have both. Took the glass top off the second day I owned the car, put the red top on and the only time it's been off the car is when I replaced the sun visors.
I think it looks so much better all Torch Red.

The solid top is heavier than the clear by a few pounds. If you plan on removing your top from time to time this weight difference might mean something. It's a pity GM killed the T-tops for C4's and gave us a big heavy targa top.

I like the blue acrylic roof myself. All of my c4s have had them. I am considering a solid top for summer use.

I have both. My glass top is the Smoke. I have never used my Glass Top. It sits in a protective cover underneath the bed.

On my '87 the body color looks best, but my head brushes the liner. I like the light coming thru the glass top, but in summer the AC can't keep up.

So I run glass in the winter, fiberglass in the summer so I can run the AC for Darling Wife. Me, I like windows down.
