RIP Mseven (Mick Stevens)
We lost a good one a few nights ago
Incredibly talented drummer, teacher and built one hell of a car
Many of you remember his C4 build

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...uilt-90-a.html
...some of you old Timers may remember the purple Pro Street Duster he built featured in the 80s Car Craft mags
,
He also owned the infamous Silver Bullit for a number of yrs, was the quickest st car of its day back then.
Hope the mods dont mind the link
http://www.chevelles.com/forums/11-b...er-bullit.html
His SB2.2 powered 69 Camaro was at Autorama & placed well, his most recent project
Micks tuning & electical skills were over the top, started with C4s & did a number of those 1-2k hp turbo cars you see these days.
One of the best friend Ive ever had, we will miss ya buddy.
Sure wish I could call him once more.
Pic of him with the Motor City Bad boys, & played with a number of bands you over 40 guys would recognize even today (on the far left)

Remember talking to Mick a few times when I was sorting out my 86's tune.

WOW! Mick will be missed.
He was a great guy.
He tried to help so many people all the time and would talk on the phone with you like you knew him for years even if it was your first time.
He was great for this forum and great to talk to.
Thanks for posting this Cuisinart

Sad to hear. Just seems like yesterday when we were working on Beach Bum's tune right here in my kitchen.

I too used to talk to him on the phone some years ago, we both really liked old Mopars, still had my '70 Cuda then. Very sorry to hear this. He seemed like a really good guy and was fun to talk to. RIP Mick.

What can you tell us about the last 3-4 years (since the 90 was sold) and what happened to him? How old was he? 50-60?
That pic in the OP is what...30-40 yrs old? Thanks for posting it! Not exactly what I pictured considering how GOOD he was with cars, tuning, engines, etc...
Oh yeah....Did you ever meet Mick in person? (Since you're in CA and he was in Detroit?)
