Anyone have a Gearhead-EFI logon ?
Anyone have a Gearhead-EFI logon ? I tried to register and have not received the activation email. It is like the site is running on auto pilot with no support. I even emailed the site admin with no response.
Anyway, I need the 1996 LT1 Corvette cal that is on post nbr 4 of this page if anyone has a logon.

Grandspt was kind enough to give me the base file from his LT4, now I need to look at the base file from an LT1. My new laptop won't be here until sometime Saturday.
Thanks !

Your welcome, you probably know it already but the files from Gearhead-EFI are .cal files and the JET DST are .jcl files. Thankfully JET allows you to open both types.

Actually it does. That is why I wanted it. I was/am curious to see the differences in the programming between the LT1 and LT4, auto -vs- stick.
I need to now learn if the differences are because of the subtle engine differences AND the different trans types, or if the differences are solely (in the tuning parameters) due to the better performance and slight hardware differences of the LT4 -vs- the LT1.
When I change the rockers and cam the car, this should help.
I have attached .txt files that are the parameter dump between the 2 cars if anyone else is interested.

I used to have a Hypertech programmer before. So I copied the Hypertech .cal file before I sold it on Ebay. Then I compared the stock tune to the Hypertech.
Other than the fan temperature and a bit of a timing change there was hardly a difference.
I have headers and a full 3" exhaust with a cold air setup. I have changed fan temperature and CAGS (turned off) but I haven't adjusted much else.
The car runs strong as is.
If I did a cam change then I would play around more.
But I am no expert in tuning.

I still have not received an activation email. Would one of you mind going through the process of joining Gearhead and seeing if you get one please ?
http://www.gearhead-efi.com/
this will let me know if it is on autopilot and not accepting new members, etc.

Thanks, probably no one is minding the store. I have found that once they go on auto-pilot, that they just cruise on until the lease on the site name needs paid for again and server storage funding runs out, that it will simply disappear.
