Tires
I know there has been alot on this topic, but I couln't find much here regarding recommendations for a good performance all-season tire. I use my vette as a daily driver (the only car I own!) and will be subject to some snow in the winter. Of course I would avoid several inches of snow, but what is a decent traction tire in light snow? I've heard that Kumho's peform well in wet/rainy conditions. But I'm worried about light snow....any ideas out there? :seeya

Go to the Tire Rack web site and look as some of the specs and ratings of different tire brands. The BF Goodrich KDWS appears to be a tire that is rated to do fairly well in snow/rain. Look at the owner review sections to read opinions about the tires folks bought.

Nothing better than keeping the vette in a nice warm and dry spot while you slip and slide in your hooptie!

Re: Tires (bradvette)
I haven't driven in snow with mine yet, however ice is a much bigger problem than snow.
The Yokohama Avid V4's that I have seem to be good, but I haven't had much experience with anything else.

My wife and I have both driven "R" Vette in the snow. That was pre 383 though. Michelin XGT Z4 Pilots all around. Expensive but well worth it. Especially in the snow. Since these have been discountined, I believe what you'll be looking at now from Michelin is the Pilot Sport A/S. They are supposed to be even better, but I have no personal experience with them as they just came out.
