Hi folks,
Just that. New roof panel is ordered and comes finished in black gel coat. Painting the car (or even just the panel) is not in the budget right now. I have a roll of "3D Black Carbon Fiber" with which I was going to wrap the original but I wonder if there's something close enough to Ruby Red that would look decent. I'm also considering the Carbon Fiber with a large decal on top but I have mixed feelings about that notion.

Your thoughts?

Unless it's an exact match, my guess is it's always going to look a bit off. If you can get a sample of some colors from the vinyl folks, that would be probably the best way to see. Nice thing about the vinyl is it's easy to change if you don't like it.
I think you might be better off using a completely different color like you originally planned though.
