Ridetech Shocks for 96 Corvette
I just wanted to let everyone know that I installed a set of Ridetech single adjustable shocks on my GrandSport.
The shocks are excellent, I have been trying to tame a loose rear suspension for a while (see the tech section for; QA1 shocks anyone running them). The Ridetechs adjust the rebound with a click of a ****. The ration is 5 clicks of rebound for every 1 compression.
The shocks are lighter in weight than the stock Bilstein Z51 shocks and the adjustment **** is placed on the top for the front shock and the bottom on the rear shock.
The ride can be super smooth or pretty firm depending on your adjustment settings. I am running 12 clicks front and rear and my car is firm with a decent ride on the highway (this is subjective because everyone has a different opinion on ride quality). It fixed my loose rear suspension finally, I have been chasing this since I replaced my stock rubber rear suspension bushings.
I have no affiliation with Ridetech I just want to put it out there that there is another excellent shock out there at a decent price (~$740 for four part# 11560110 '89-'96 model years) with a million and one mile warranty. They sell the shocks separately also.

Thank you for your business! I'm glad you are happy with the shocks.
I jumped on the other thread a few days ago and explained how the shock works and why we chose to tune the way we did. Hopefully everyone finds that useful.
If you have any questions or need anything let us know.
