Default If you had your choice???

What year Vette would you own, and what option package?

Money is no option or get it free, what your's be?

I'll try a split window 427, 4 speed, side pipes, blue/black interior.

I'd have one like my Dads, 58 red & white with the hardtop, 283. big Rochester 4 Bbl and the 4 speed. I'd have to have A/C though.

later, tiny

It'll sound silly to say the one I have..

So, if I was going to pick another, it would be a plastic bumper, 80/81, model.. Resto-modded a bit, with an LT4 Engine and modern transmission.

I love the C1's and C2's, but they're too valuable to drive, and I'm not a waxer. What fun is that? If someone gave me one I would just sell it.

Default wish

I'd take back my 63 Triple black roadster with Hooker Header side pipes. Car won Indy Super Chevy class 4 times. I put it in for paint and after 8 months in 'paint jail' I sold it. No patience in those days! One big regret!!

I would also like a 63 split window with a 427 but they never made one. You had a 327 or a....327.

A 65 coupe, 396ci/425hp, Black with bright Blue interior would look very nice parked in my garage, 95 ZR1 in Polo Green (31) or dark Purple (25) would be ok to.

For looks:
No doubt a '57 red on white or cream like this one.

My parents had a '58 and a '61 parked in the garage when I was a little and that is what got me into liking C1s. I am a bigger fan of the single headlights of the '56-'57 though.

For go fast:
Exactly what I have. An early C4 with a LS swap for the super sleeper effect.

Easy choice for me. 1962 fuelie white on white 4sp with 4:11s. Being old I still have a thing for solid axle cars even if they handle poorly. Hard to beat the kick in the *** feel from a solid axle.

67 OR 69 427/400 COUPE WITH AUTO, AIR, PS, PW, DELUX INTERIOR, ECT, EVERYTHING ELSE (including off road exhaust) EXCEPT PB.
Beautiful high HP, high torque engine that I could drive into old age without shifting. Comfortable ride with no modern electronics to go wacky.
67 because it’s a C2; 69 because GM had the body/build bugs worked out of the 68 by then.

OK, I flipped a coin, it would be the 69.

If in original condition:
1967 Coupe, side pipes, red with black 'stinger hood', 4 speed 427/435hp. Black interior.

If modified/resto-mod
A red C2 coupe (any year) with a custom frame and LS engine, 6-speed manual, big brakes, wider wheels/tires.

I would be pretty darn happy with either one!

A '53 through '57 C1. I could care less about the value, if I could afford to own one I would drive the wheels off of it. Second choice would be a tie between a C6 ZR1 or a '96 GS.

A black 1980 with an L-82 engine or a 1966 C2 with a 1965 December build date, same as my birth date.

It really does. Went with my dad last Monday to pick up a '17 GS he bought. M7 trans, z07 car, carbon ceramic brakes and competition seats. Beast of a car. Will get pics this weekend
