I can't believe what I'm reading! That thing is going to be an atrocity! You should be banned from CF for even contemplating destroying such a fine vehicle as the C4 you own. Corvette ownership comes with responsibilities, preserving the heritage that the last owner bequeathed to you is one of them!! I believe this thread should be moved to the other vehicle portion of the forum and then it should be locked up!!
Good luck with your build Zeeek.

….. If your '91 was a cosmetic turd , I could maybe understand … But its not , sooooo … in 4 to 10 years , after spending unimaginable major $$$ , you will be the proud owner of a sunny day only 91/57 Corvette that you would be lucky to sell for $7500 ….. How could that NOT be an awesome idea ? …..

Just to put my fellow C 4 lovers minds at ease......here is the closure you needed to hear... After much investigating and research, I have found that most of these after market Vettes are made to use only their product. Since I did not like any ONE particular companies kit and can not combine parts from one to the other, I have decided NOT to cannibalize my 91 C 4.
I have since decided to go back to my roots and build a new hot rod. I already put a deposit down on this 1932 Ford Cabriolet body and bare chassis. It comes with the removable top and power windows so AC can be used. Here are a few photos of the body, frame, and how I plan on finishing it.
Oh yeah....I sold my C 4 to a new and hopefully happy owner....
