Trying to debug a bad blower motor (turns out it was just the relay), but going into the ratio and climate controls, I found a cable harness unconnected. Any idea what it is for? Or where it should go?

Looks to be the 'DEFOGGER CONTROL' . Wires should be PNK/BLK, ORN, BLK/WHT and PPL. Do you have the FSM?

Thanks for the quick response WVZR-1. I do not have the FSM, but I did order a chilton's manual (FSM looked very expensive!). The I'll take a look to find the wiring diagram for the defogger control.

After your car, the second most important purchase is the FSM. It does cost more but if/when you do a side by side comparison you will find the chilton book to be lacking--- severely lacking. Frankly you will have wasted money that you could have put to the FSM.

Bill, I'll look at getting the FSM. Do you recommend a paper copy or an electronic PDF copy on a CD? I'm only concerned that the scanned copy may not have the best resolution. Thanks!
