Default 1987 convertible

Will the Winter ruin my top ?

Thank you - I read that newer convertibles have no issues with Winter but because this is a 1987 model I'm here asking for help.

If its the original top it has a vinyl back window which gets brittle and stiff in the northern winters. I regularly apply Armorall to it which seems to help. If its a summer driver try to store it in a garage and covered. If its a DD don't scrape snow off the window. don't do anything that will cause it to flex like putting the top down in the early spring. Let the sun warm it up first.

Good luck with your ride.

What kind of winter? It it's a midwest or new england winter, I'd find something else to drive.
