Default 1958 Corvette Convertible.. REAL gold trim..

I thought this was interesting.. There is a corvette body shop I do business with that constantly has interesting corvettes in the lot when I pass by. I've been telling myself I would start taking pictures of the more interesting stuff, like this '58 convertible that has its trim done in real gold.. Even has gold coin shavings in the paint. This car has quite the back story as well.. but idk how true it is.

Anyway, here is my first share of a place I call vette heaven..

The gold trim makes losing one hubcap rather painful, I'd think. To each his own. If I were a sultan, a shah or a pimp I might think differently.

That's neat, but I really prefer chrome...

Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. Looks like a cool shop for Vettes.

That's a nice looking C4 behind Goldmember's car in the first shot.

What he said. Sorry but I prefer chrome over gold trim, just doesn't complement the car IMO.
