Default Corvette Summer

Hey guys, they have the Corvette Summer car listed on Ebay. It is a tribute I believe but pretty spot on...

Like oddball stuff. Back in the 70s and 80s, flares, metal flake paint were the norm.

Cant help but wonder if that hood would be useful in shedding underhood pressure and heat.

If that is a tribute it's a shame that more than one Corvette would suffer that fate.

Corvette Summer was one of the most depressing movies I ever watched. The intro showed the car being built in a High School Auto Tech lab. At the beginning of the movie the car was stolen, and the rest of the movie was the lead trying to find it again...

i thought it was a cool movie when I saw it in the late 70s! ha! but I was probably in 9th grade!!!!!
