I hate a damn thief
Just noticed on my way to work this evening that someone stole my original stock wheels and tires from my 87,I had them stacked on the side of my residence since about early April when I got my new wheels and tires...unbelievable!

Did you have a sign on them that said "FREE"? because that is what usually happens when you leave a pile of money on the side of your house and expect no one to steal it.
Sorry this happened. But a hard lesson learned? Not everyone is honest out there. On the bright side, I am sure your neighbors are happy the eye sore on the side of your house is gone.

My vote is scrapped for the aluminum. Some junkie needed some quick cash. No one wants these wheels for their cars, there are lots for sale on eBay, Craigslist, word of mouth, etc.

So sorry for your loss. All we can count on anymore these days are video cameras.
Lots of desperate people out there working dead end jobs that don't pay a living wage. Just one more way we subsidize wages at WalMart for their multimillionaire CEO.
Fortunately, you can replace them cheap enough if you want to. I see them all the time for sale.

Maybe I should go put those centerlines in the shed...

It could have been worse...
Think how you'd feel if the wheels/tires were stolen right off your car. It happens. Wheel locks can help.

To the OP: I'm sorry some shitbag took something from you that wasn't his/hers just because they thought they needed it more than you did. But hey, forgive them, they probably have a dead end job and really need the money... If I were you, Id track down that lowly POS CEO of Wal Mart and steal something from him to even things out....

Someone came into my yard, went in my truck, went into my wallet which I left in console, took $800 out, left wallet. Why would they just not take entire wallet? I know I'm a dumb *** for leaving it in truck, but still why remove the cash and leave the wallet?

I had something that was valuable to me, I chose to leave it unprotected and unsecured, and now I am upset that someone walked off with it.
