Default Transferring door lock cylinder

How difficult is it to replace door handle and transfer the existing cylinder from old handle to new handle?? 1985

"how difficult" is subjective. I did it on my 85's driver side, and thought it was a fairly easy fix. there is a spring-loaded clip holding the assembly together (part 202 in the diagram). anyway, here's a "how-to" on the subject --

Transferring the lock cylinder is easy. Putting all the rods/clips back on is another story...

Watch the "W" retainer that actually holds the cylinder in the handle. I dunno where you have to go to buy one if you lose it, but I DO KNOW they can fly about 15 feet!

I've never seen a clip such as that. However when I purchased the replacement handle it had the "guts" of the cylinder in it so I have spare clip to work with.....which I'm sure I'll lose cause that's the rule.
