Where to buy a 1993 Ruby Red Convertible HARD TOP
Can anyone suggest where I can find a HARD TOP for my awesome 1993 40th Anniversary Ruby Red convertible?
Keep an eye out in the for sale section here, eBay, and CL.

When you do find a hardtop, don't worry too much about color. There were probably very few Ruby 'verts that had a hardtop as part of the package. The factory hardtop can be painted to match the Ruby Red color by any reputable body shop. It may cost $500 to $600 but you get new paint for it.
Also, make sure that the top you buy includes the steel mounting brackets. These brackets tie the halo bar in the hardtop to the B-pillars of the car body.

Keep an eye on the C4 Parts For Sale section. Hardtops will occasionally show up for sale in that section. Hardest part in getting a hardtop is shipping if the seller is some distance away. They are pretty bulky even though they only weigh about 65 lbs or so.

Yep, shipping sucks. I bought one far away and, to sell far away was nuts for shipping. I bought local and it was smooth, sold local eventually too.

There is one for sale on Facebook marketplace in flower mound Texas. It says 1996 but it’s a 1993 ruby red anniversary model top.

Hope this helps/.. just looked again. You will need to paint it as its polo green, It has the brackets AND comes with the stand . Looked at the map and its not to far from my house.

Craigslist, ebay.
I bought 2 in the past. I sold one. Shipping one through airplane cost like 100. Shipping freight was like 400, so i did not do it
