My '93 is called Piper because when we first pulled up behind it when it was parked up, the misses said "what the hell is that"? I asked "what" she said "under there, what are those they will be dragging on the ground" I "oh you mean the exhaust pipes"? Nah they'll be okay" (3" SS cat back system).

We've got Turq (91 ZR-1) (Wife's car. Name is short for Turq Monster: Cammed, coil-overs, roll cage, diffuser, 410 gear - built (modified) specifically to compete in the "Silver State Rallies") ,
Phoenix (90 ZR-1) (ported, phased cams, headers, X-pipe and 3" exhausts, a 508+ chp "sleeper": built (modified) specifically to look and idle completely stock - [except for exhaust/headers])
"Pearl" x2 (69 C3) (Wife's 'other Corvette'! Cammed 350/350 w/ headers, M4, 411 gear, side pipes (Wife's B-day present: "Makes it more rumbly!" she said.:lol,) Wife named it for the pearlized paint job) Edit: NOTE: Yeah, I know... The gill panel is wrong for a "69 MY. But, the VIN = '69, and she was raced in a prior life. So, (I guess) the front-end was replaced at some point?

All my cars get names. Like the scene from Forest Gump when the guy asks Forest what his boat's name is and says its bad luck not to name your boat.

She's Jessica (as in Jessica Rabbit)
She has all the curves in all the right places. She has that deep sexy voice and looks wonderful in red.

I like it especially b/c it is different. It seems people either LOVE it or HATE (color-wise). The previous owner, Brett, builds Corvettes; making panels from molds - a body man's mentor. He's of the HATE group -- even offered to help sand and prime it for some other color (almost seemed apologetic - color 'looks too feminine'. (I declined the offer - Besides...it is my wife's car and she [too] likes it!)

I don't think there is such a thing as feminine color on a car, well, a nice car or classic.. I seen a light pink 57 Chevy at a show the other day.. it was sweet! That turquoise color is unique..when you think corvette everyone thinks red, black, or yellow.. I like it!
