Painted fuel rail covers
I just finished painting the fuel rail covers, waiting on them to dry now. While they are drying I'm touching up the c4 emblems that goes on each cover, then I'll finish my doing the letters. Here's a few shots from the process

I wanted a red color, with a black car and so much black under the hood I wanted a little pop under there for shows. I didn't just want red, I wanted an anodized metallic looking deep red.. So I had to put a chrome metallic finish on them first.

yes! I have a car show this weekend and plan on doing a full workup on it, polish A.C. lines, intake, wipe down engine, full interior and probably hit the body again with the buffer

washed them with dawn, then used isopropyl alc. To finish, scuffed them lightly with 1000 grit.. 3 coats of adhesion promoter, 3 coats primer, 3 coats chrome finish duplicolor, 3 coats of duplicolor red anodized. I probably could wet sand them and polish after it cures but I think I'll leave them alone and see how well it holds up.

Yes I reused the c4 emblems, they are just held on with adhesive tape. Gently removed them with flathead. Cleaned up, restored with touchup black pen, Re applied with gorilla glue lol. The letters i just painted over red, then painted black on top with the black touch up pen after they dried.

Did mine a few years back, Buick pearl white. Finished the C4 logo's with some of the boss lady's nail color and bought the letter inserts from Mid-America. Used up some pinstripe tape to break up the panel.
