Burning Brakes
I don't care for it but you never know. I had a girlfriend who's father absolutely was just crazy over the old SAAB Sonett sports car. I just never got it though. The attraction that is.

Didn't they already do this story once before on the front page? Repeat.
CCE needs to go back to endorsing street racing on the front page.

Safety Car
That car was built in a style that was popular in the past. I know a guy that has a couple, based on Mustang chassis parts that is reminiscent of a Duesenberg. I can't remember the name of the company that built it. Supposedly, those are still being made in New York.
Assuming you read the text of the article, the only part of the car in the first post that is Corvette is the suspension/front and rear subframe. That should say something right there.
Mongoose Motorsports in Ravenna Ohio uses C4 suspension components in their 1963 Grand Sport recreation. I don't see any sarcastic posts about it.
Another analogy would be trying to call a C4 a C5 because you transplanted a LSx engine into it, using the logic as above.
Yes I do understand what the guy was trying to do. Yes he accomplished it. But the market is very limited for a car like that, very limited. I also understand the article was all in fun, but to call it an "art deco Corvette" is misleading. It is an "art deco Audi TT" that has Corvette suspension.
