Paint color preference is highly subjective. Believe it or not, some of us actually like the clean and classic arctic white paint.
I would never own a red Corvette.
I don’t believe he actually painted his wheels red, pretty sure that’s photoshop.

Go to a Chevrolet dealer and see what it is worth! The dealers dont want it! I just had a friend give one of these cars away and it was red! A corvette shop bought it for flipping because he knew the car and it was perfect.

You actually have no idea what you're talking about.
The very last place on earth I would check the value of any 25-30 year old car would be the dealer. So tell us more about the car your friend "gave away" What was his give away price? What year was it? Any idea on what car # it was? Miles? Condition?
Please elaborate.
Oh, and by all means...please tell us about the head aches comment you made in post # 14

Mr highly intelligent I talked to a man who bought an 89 ZR1. Still havn't seen a pic of the engine, which I know where one is and could install in mine easly. Photo shop is easy to do and that car is not in proportion. AND a real dumbass would buy the car without checking.

Nobody even talked about buying the car, but there’s literally nothing, zip, zilch, nada, nothing at all in any way even in the few pics that doesn’t look exactly like a real ZR1. If you’re that worried about seeing more pics of the car why not just follow the eBay link from the original post? There’s plenty more pictures, including of the engine, and they’re all just as real looking as the rest.

Found them . Look at where the back up lights line up with the C and E on corvette. Now find another pic of the rear of a ZR1 and look at the line up. They are outside of the C and E.

Just trying to show it is a real ZR-1. This one's mine. The license plate bracket fills the space where the backup lights would be on a standard C4. (That bracket is missing on the car for sale.)

Still arguing about this?

It is a Z.

Anybody who argues differently must be the child of Helen Keller and Stevie Wonder.

BTW Joe, your ZR-1 turned out great.

I didn’t think I’d like White either on a Z but it’s nice. White with red interior is great. White looks really nice at sunset/dark. My ultimate choice would be one of the types of blues offered. I always liked how the red bow tie pops against the blue from the ZR-1 emblem. Sounds silly but it always catches my eye in pics of blue Zs.

I dont think the seller will get what he’s asking. It’s most likely just a cast the reel and let the line sit in the water for a while and see what happens. May not need to sell it, just check consignment dealers who have these Zs for years and they just sit.

I never considered this as a "pizzing contest", I was simply trying to show or help prove the '95 White Corvette was actually a real ZR-1. That's why I posted the information about the eBay listing. "J" indicated LT-5, which is the engine code for a ZR-1. The 5800439 is the sequence for a ZR-1. There are many other signs to have proven this was in fact a real ZR-1 and they have been mentioned before. That rear bumper "Conversion" is simply the rear of a standard C4. It is meant for someone wanting to give a '84-'90 Corvette the look of a ZR-1.

When the ZR-1 debuted in 1990 it had the convex rear bumper and in '91 even the standard Corvette received the convex rear end. The only way to tell a ZR-1 at that point was that it is three inches wider in the rear end. That bumper cover in the add would not fit on a real ZR-1. The comments about the "Corvette" script are true. "Corvette" is embossed on a standard C4 in the bumper cover, but on a ZR-1, the script is added onto the cover.

A great read about the Corvette ZR-1 is covered in a book entitled "The Heart of the Beast", by Anthony Young. It talks about the 1990-1995 Corvette ZR-1. It also mentions the Pre-production cars that were constructed for testing. So if that gentleman you met really has an "1989" ZR-1 it would be nice to see pictures. Pre-production cars are very rare, because most were destroyed or kept by GM. Prior to 1990 the car was known as "The King of the Hill", because they had not given it the designator of ZR-1 until in came out in 1990.

The 90 had the same tailights as the rest of em .
What Hagerty says cars are worth and the real world are 2 different things.
Not sure where they are getting 12.7 from for a 95. Maybe in mineshaft conditions with a perfect driver. For the most part they are 13 sec cars.

Hes fishing....the 1 of xx doesnt mean jack. You either hate white or love it
I always hated it til I owned one...always looks clean, isnt hot inside (like black). Has to have the right shade and stance otherwise yes it looks bland on most cars
