Default Valve Cover Emblem

Was cleaning the engine bay today and when I was wiping down the passenger side valve cover I barely touch the round emblem on it and came off. Kind of glad it came off because loose as it was would have hated to have it fall off while driving down the road. Question is, what would you recommend I use to re-attach it that stands up to the heat and vibrations?

Mine is missing from my L98. Checked pricing and is available for about $45.00.

I have attached a few with black silicone RTV (gasket maker). clean and degrease, and a little dime size glob in the center, position, and let it cure -

Get some 3M Super weatherstrip adhesive. Clean the back of the emblem and the valve cover with some alcohol. Just use enough to cover the entire area on the back of the emblem. Let it set for a couple of minutes and then press the emblem on the valve cover. Been using this stuff for years.

I use the stuff to hold gaskets in place prior to assembley on things like valve covers, oil pans and trans pans. Just a little here and there assures the gaskets will stay put and not fold over or get moved.

I once put a VC emblem on with J-B Weld, it stayed on.

If you ever had or wanted to take it back off, how would you do it?
