Hard to say without more info, but fuel pumps are easy to replace. Why wouldn't he just fix it and sell a running car?

Nope... Not w/o a fellow brother taking a look. Something curious about a 95 "great" except for a $75 fuel pump...

I'd take a look for you but that's a long drive just for something that's probably a disappointment. Also being that close to New York I'd be leery...

If it doesn't run, anything could be wrong with it..

But, the price is nice. Looks good, but the pics are shaded and from two different locations. No int or engine pics.

May not be current.

I know I've seen the same skid loader for sale in multiple states on CL before, and I wondered if they were just trying to lure someone with a stack of cash down there.

Proceed with caution.

Close to the water i would be cautious about water damage. And everything else, cheap means caution.

That inspection sticker isn't a New Jersey inspection sticker either... would appear to be New York... Again given the area that doesn't shock me too much but it's a big place. Where did it come from.

2k 112k miles... go with a can of fuel or starter fluid and spray in the TB while he turns it over. If it fires make him an offer. Simple, he knows it is worth nothing not running.

Also odd there are no close up photos of the exterior/interior/engine, etc. If you really want the car, be prepared for something else wrong besides just the fuel pump!

That's such a shame.. I was wondering if this deal was real..

Even the Mrs. was like: "Wow.. That's a nice car for 2K.. Running or not."

Same, he was genuinely curious how bad it could possibly be. Was going to shoot over after work.

Maybe the car didn't belong to the Craigslist poster at all. It could have been a scam, where the fake seller/owner was going to hit the potential buyer over the head with a whiskey bottle (or shank him in the kidney) and rob him of his purchase cash. Sorry, I got a little paranoid and dramatic there...
