96 GS makes Hagerty's Bull Market list
Nice read. Let's hope they're right!

As a side note Hagerty makes an incredible magazine these days and you don't have to be an insurance member to get it. https://www.hagerty.com/drivers-club
Best,

Roadmaster station wagon???
They missed the 70s/80s era MB they are getting good money.
Never woulda guessed at a boxer either. The 70s.80s Porsches are crazy expensive though

Nice to see a Corvette in the round-up. I rode in a Buick Roadmaster wagon many years ago, I remember thinking, “So this is what it’s like to travel on a fluffy cloud.” The Roadmaster was as smooth as silk and had what appeared to be endless carrying capacity.

Cars are worth what someone is willing to pay, not what marketing hype promotes! The GS is great car and one I would love to have and drive. Unfortunately the driving part would decrease the value for a true collector car. A perfect 1991 ZR1 with 8,000 miles just sold for $17,500 on Mecum in Florida. Watch these auctions and see what sells and how many do not meet the reserve the owner thinks it is worth. Actual buyers dictate value.
I think we are at the golden age for collector cars to drive since I fear the government will limit their use in 20 years for on road driving.
Buy what you like and can afford to drive, not for investment, but for the pure pleasure of driving these great cars now.

We will see electrics take a position as "only allowed" inside some major cities in the near future.

I logged into my account (new member as of December) and I suppose by default you are already apart of the Driver's club and get six issues a year. Hopefully I'll be getting mine in the mail soon !

Yes if you're part of the Hagerty Driver's Club you can get the magazine. People who don't insure with them can also join the Driver's Club. I'm working for Hagerty now so if you don't get that magazine you know who to ask.

When that day draws nearer Ill start using it as a daily again. Insure it and move on.

Been saying for years that the GS would be a much sought after C4 down the road...uniqueness defines value and only a 1000 GS's made on one of the defining Sports cars of the modern era. In 10-15 years I suspect the 96 GS will be selling for more then what you could have bought one for new.
