Default Lubricating undercarriage???

What are the typical areas under the late model C4s that require lubrication/oiling/silicone spray/grease, etc? I realize early year cars had grease "nipples" for a grease gun to connect to. Any areas under my 1996 that need routine attention?

I believe the only grease fittings on your 1996 are the ball joints in the front suspension (4). If somehow your u-joints (6) also have grease fittings, I'd guess they are not original parts, which is fine. Actually it's good. Anyway, don't use too much grease, just enough that the rubber seals begin to bulge. Hit all the grease fittings every year if the car sees at least 5,000 miles in that time. More often than that may be too much grease. E.g. for a car that sees only 2,000 miles per year, I would grease it up every 2 years (4,000 miles).
I used silicone spray on all the original rubber bushings to nourish and lubricate, hopefully will keep them alive a bit longer.
The brake slider pins should also be cleaned and lubricated periodically... this is not necessarily a chassis/suspension item but you asked about areas underneath that may need attention. Be careful with the E clips.
Hope this helps you.

I did actually mean to say "suspension and U-joints" and anything that spins or moves, etc, not just undercarriage...Thanks.

If your LT1 Leaks like it should, there should be plenty of back spray to leave a nice layer of 10w-30 for protection/lube.
