Buy it used, either from the parts forum or one of the used parts vendors. You can probably even get one in the color you need.

My "goto" guy is Jason at Vette2Vette. He's runs a Corvette dismantling/parts operation and has helped me out several times with seats and body panels, etc.

Corvette Central too has helped out with the right internal replacement parts, as has Rock Auto.
