Default 427 C4 is finally running

Hi all,
I finally got the 427 driving it has ls3 coil packs and holley EFI

I also got a video of it moving under its own power.

The EFI is still learning but this thing is a blast so much torque on demand.
Once the engine is broken in I plan to dyno it and see how much power it makes

Question, does the holley EFI control the coil packs (ignition)?

Please tell me you're gonna do a full right up on this. I was thinking about doing a 383 for my 85 but you pretty much just sold me on a 427. I need to know all of what you have done to make it fit and run. I dont want to loose my digital dash or any major modification to the car.

yeah the EFI controls the timing and coil packs, it was very easy to set up the hard part was mounting the coils.

If i have time I'll do a full write up I changed the entire powertrain of the car to handle the power (sent the 700r4 out, converted to a Dana 44, new drive shaft, half shafts, ect), but to make it fit i just had to put a notch in the k member. The big thing is I converted the car to hydro-boost braking to make sure I had good brakes with the low vacuum the engine makes. The digi dash works perfectly the only thing I am missing is fuel mileage readout.

Awesome car buddy, congrats. Keep us posted on your build. I'm running a LS LQ9 with fast EFI computer stuff. I'm going to do a build the engine down the road.

At least I am part way there since mine is a manual. What is special about you're driveshaft and halfshafts? Since the 427 is a small block, does your accessories bolt up like factory? I would assume that it must be simple since you were previously concerned about keeping the ac and such. Why the Holley efi instead of the factory ecu?

I think if that car pulled up next to me at a traffic light, while I was in my vette, I would put the turn signal light on while sitting very low in my seat.

It looks great! Good job. Any problems with the valve cover fit? What mods to clear the wiper motor?
