Default vacuum booster adjustment

hi folks i just finished getting my brakes on my ruby ragtop to where they were bfore the so called mechanic got done installing a new vacuum booster, which left me about an inch of travel in the brake pedal before i got any braking at all. I've read where after you take your car on the highway and then jack it up you can rotate your front wheel about a turn and a half. i was able to do that but it was tight. should it turn freely or with alot of resistance? any advice is appreciated

Espy, what kind of a stunt is this? You have had an extensive education on brake booster adjustment since Feb 8th. Several of us have tried to help you, and now you come up with this question???

roy as i said the mechanic had it way off to the degree that the brakes locked up due to the brakes being applied by the booster. he backed off the adjustment and all was just ok but there was too much travel in the pedal. today i took it on the interstate up to 75 mph in 83 degree weather , the brakes felt good with a little nose dip when you touch them . got home jacked it up as i said earlier
and the wheel turned with resistence. i tried your spurt test and saw nothing happen in the resevoir my fluid is clear and the two ports were visible. not having any baseline to start with other than a misadjusted pushrod all i was able to do was trial and error with very minor adjustments each time to get it where it is right now. what else can b done I'm all ears
