Hello from Atlanta
Well, I'm actually working in TX currently.
But I am looking into buying a C4.
I am 6'3" (and almost 30 years old so I'm done growing) and want to find out some info about how I will fit in a C4 Corvette, specifically 1991-1996. Can I fit? Will I be comfortable?
I found a YouTube video where a 6'3" guy had his hair touching the targa top. But he said he was sitting straight up. So I am trying to figure out if I will be able to lower my seat enough for my head to not touch the ceiling and to also have enough leg room.
Thanks!

Your best bet is to find a car and see how you fit in it. But, I’m moving this to the C4 General section for more comments.

Yea, I was thinking I might get that response lol but thanks. I plan on going and test driving one soon, I was just curious if someone would give me the quick answer of "yeah, you'll be fine"

I'm 6'3" and twice your age and can tell you getting in is very easy because once you get your leg over the threshold gravity does the rest. Getting out is a bigger effort, but if I can do it at my age I'm sure a buff youngster like you should find it easy.
I find the driving position very comfortable even if it seems like your *** might scrape the road because it is so low.
(Btw, I have a 91)

I'm 6'1" (twice your age) and am very comfortable. I have the seat all the way back and lowered. I also have the back of the seat forward just a bit because of the arm length to the steering wheel.
As CorvetteRules mentions, getting in is just swinging the right leg in first and then sliding in.
If you do buy one, never use the steering wheel to help your self out or in.

Also if you are planning to go with a manual trans keep in mind the C4 does not have a lot of foot space. Take a nice varied test drive if your going that way. Since I had so much fun with the 5.0 Fox Body 5 speed I had for years was initially looking for a manual C4, but never found one near me.
After spending driving time in my auto trans made me realize just how tight it is for the feet and wondered if I would have been frustrated with a manual.

welcome to the site. use care. you will find that every time you drive your vette, the ride will make you know why you bought one in the first place. let us know if you buy one. Oh, I grew up in Columbus and Atlanta was the first 'big" town I lived in. Dang, that was around 1972 or so.

I make sure that I place my left foot as far over as I can to afford the right foot as much space as possible.

I've got an 86 convertible with a manual tranny. Here's a couple of thoughts from a 6'4" guy with size 13 shoes. I found more headroom in the convertible when the top is up than the coupe with the top on. Dress leather shoes work better than running shoes/sneakers because the soles are typically narrower. Now to be honest, I prefer to drive shoeless when I can, eliminates catching the sole of the shoe on the brake when going from the accelerator to the brake pedal.
Just some thoughts.

Well guys, I purchased the red '94 that I posted a picture of before. Very excited to enter the Corvette world. It's an AT. Very minimal issues on the vehicle. 2 gaskets need replacing and the ball joints as well. Will be taking care of that upon purchase from the same mechanic that did my pre-purchase insp. I'll be picking the car up in Virginia on the 8th and driving it to ATL over the next few days. Thank you to everyone on this thread who offered advice and guidance. Here's another shot of the new C4!
