TV Show "Everyday Driver"
Today on the MotorTrend channel (which used to be Velocity) there was a show "Everyday Driver". They were showcasing reasonably priced sports cars. They chose a Porsche, another one I wasn't paying attention to and a C4 Corvette. Their overall impression was that it was a good sports car for what they now cost. The gist of the show was affordable sports cars.
It was good C4's getting recognition for what they are, an awful lot of value for the money.
I believe this show is on YouTube or some other media as a "Podcast?"

Who gives a big pile of excrement about the other cars. I thought it was pretty cool that one of the cars they chose was a C4 Corvette and it got exposure as a lot of value for the money and still a fun car.

Im a fan of the everyday media shows...
they just did a full 90 minute movie all on corvettes throughout the generations...its available on amazon...also vimeo...if you dig corvettes I recommend either renting it for 25 hours for a couple of bucks or buy the download for I think 14 dollars..
i also watch the tv show on saturday mornings at 730 and listen to the twice a week podcasts on podcast one..
two nice guys.todd drives a lotus elise and paul has a porsche cayman gts...
todd says when he has the available funds he would love to buy a c7z06...
you cant knock the guy for dreams like that..
the c4 is an am@zong value and a great sports car value too.
to this day I remember the car and driver cover with the c4 L98 with a top speed of 150 mph...
that was an amazing feat...i always admired the c4 and so should buyers in the market for a preowned corvette

The only reasonably priced Porsche are the 924, 944 and the best of the lot for me are the 968's. I have never owned one, but have driven a few 968's.I actually like them better then the 911. Still like my 1996 CE 6 speed vert better.

The gist of this particular episode was a sports car for under $10,000. Then they took the cars out and drove them on a long windy road and gave their impressions.
The show had really nothing to do with comparing each car to the other, per se. More about a car that met the monetary criteria and then how it performed.
They did do some final comparisons, but it was pretty interesting the positive comments that were made concerning the Corvette. It is not all the often that C4's get positive reviews especially on a show about cars on a channel dedicated to motor vehicles.

The first gen Miata's are great deals. They have a great following, are easy to work on, parts are plentiful, and quite fun overall - both track and street. Not sure why the bad rap sometimes... I had a '90 for a while - one of the few cars I actually made money on...

Sounds like its worth a watch. I think people that have never owned or driven a C4 can easily write it off based on the opinions of others. After my first drive in a C4 back in 08, I was completely hooked for life!!! It is nice seeing the C4 get recognition these days. It is and always will be a stellar car in my opinion.

I only see seasons 1 through 3 on Amazon. Don't see it on YouTube either.
Can someone provide an exact link to the specific episode in the OP?

When I first put the post up, I was looking to share it with everyone. So far, no bueno, nada, nothing, zilch can I find on that specific episode. I even tried to find a synopsis of the particular episode and could only find a generic description, not which cars, etc.
