Hi, I have a couple of LCD's that the polarization film is really bad. I have replaced the film before, there is a small square on the bottom of the LCD that the lamination goes over and is degraded. What is that small square for? I wouldn't think that is light load sensor because that is near center vent and on top pf dash. Any input? Thanks!

??? need a picture...there is only 1 LCD display in the main dash, then small display on HVAC, & radio...not sure what small square you are referring too?

There will is a small square on the bottom of the glass LCD about 1/4 x 1/4 inch
